Hotel Tonight

Oh wow – what a cool shot – so colorful and lively and vibrant – love this!

I really admire your photos like this one. You make ordinary stuff look awesome. I always struggle to find cool compositions in street scenes, airports, office buildings, stairwells, etc… the way you do. But I’ll keep trying anyway. You do a great job processing these too, getting some motion in but also having some sharp stuff too. Nice work man!

Nice shot Trey, nice to see movement with in the picture, shows activity and not people frozen in time as with most pictures. Love street photography in and around Asia. In our western society there is always someone wanting to bust your camera over your head, had that experience in New York wrong area wrong time and London Soho.

Welcome to China! Make sure to visit some hutongs, instead of the Americanized Sanlitun area!! You are in Beijing after all!

I like the lines and patterns in this. I like the static and the blurred movement as well. It’s very tastefully processed.
It’s a good example of where HDR adds to a scene.
Yes there are plenty of super rich in China who can afford their iPhones and iPads. I doubt if they give much thought to the poor souls who have to make them. Hopefully in time the wealth will trickle down.
