Large Format Photographs

These are now exclusively available through a limited edition series listed on

Below is a photo of Mark Zuckerberg holding one of our earlier (and much smaller) print runs, from 2011, which has been discontinued. As you visit the new site, you’ll notice the large format photographs are now all 2-3 meters in size (6-9.5 feet).

Trey, I am trying to find where I can purchase a print of your Chicago Fire Dept. photo. Please get back with me, Thank you, Mitch Hartman

  • Stuck In Customs

    Thanks for the message.

We don’t offer that as a print in our Limited Edition series – my apologies. We do release a new one every week to the print gallery, although that particular one is not in the upcoming lineup, I’m afraid.

Trey, what printing company do use to print on Metal?/

  • Trey Ratcliff

I use Image Wizards — tell Amanda I sent you :)

  • Karen Hutton

One day I will write you a note to tell you what a huge inspiration you’ve been to me – in photography and well beyond. I haven’t made up my mind how yet (smoke signals, cuneiform, interpretive dance? I’m flummoxed by the options)… so for today, just a simple silly question. I saw that your first print of the year is your GORGEOUS azure pool image shot at Hearst Castle. How did you get permission to offer it commercially? I’m sure being a living legend helps, but I always wondered how it works when one L.L. meets another L.L.’s descendants and their strict L.L. protocol.

  • Bill

Do you have a number series for each size or for each print type i.e 1-250 on canvas 1-250 on paper and 1-5 on metal?

  • roman

    very wonderful photos *)

    Hi, Trey,

I was admiring your portfolio on Smugmug and clicked the Buy Prints link. It took my to your /prints/
page on your regular website, which told me to go to Smugmug and click the Buy Prints link at the top. Which there ain’t, at least on my Firefox on a Mac. Thought you’d like to know. Not that I’d actually ever cough up coin to buy another photographer’s prints. I need all my money to buy gear to make my prints look like yours. As if.

  • Michael

Hi Trey, the print that John P ordered , can you tell me how much he paid just to get an idea? and that metal print was ordered directly from smugmug? or you used another company? thanks

  • Trey Ratcliff

For metal prints, I use Image Wizards. I believe the one JohnP got there was $1999.

Anyway I’m adding this RSS to my email and could look out for much more of your respective exciting content. Ensure that you update this once more very soon..

Hi Trey! It was really nice meeting you in Sydney (I’m the guy that lent you the 14-24 lens). Just wanted to understand what Limited Annum prints are as opposed to Limited Editions and how you track the Limited Annum and Artist Proof Prints. How many do you put in the editions? Thanks in advance for any information regarding this.

  • Luke Lakatosh (SIC Support)

The digitally signed metal prints are limited to 50 of any given image. The other prints are available from the Smugmug interface with varying limited selection on availability. Feel free to drop me a line at if you have more questions or need more help.
