Exploring the Earnslaw Burn – Stuck in Customs

Exploring the Earnslaw Burn

Panoramas and Boundry Warping

If you have the new Lightroom, be sure to try out one of the new features when making a panorama. It’s called the “Boundry Warp” and it’s a new option when you fist start making your pano. What it does is basically it gets rid of all the “dead” white bits of your pano and lets you warp it around so you get edge-to-edge photo action!

Daily Photo – Exploring the Earnslaw Burn

So, I both like this photo and I don’t like it. I can’t decide!

It’s a panorama made out of about 20 different photos from my Hasselblad. I think the thing I don’t like about it is the flat lighting. The only way to get good lighting in this hard-to-get-to area of New Zealand is to be there in the late Spring or Summer. Anyway, I’ll go back and do this shot again, much better next time, with better light! Oh, and in Spring the water flow will be much better so it should be waterfall-city!
