Daily Photo – The Ceiling of the Paris Opera House

I stole this photo-taking idea from Matt Knisely! At first, I would lay down on my back and try to get the shot. But that was frustrating and bothersome. Then I saw Matt just put his camera on the ground with a timer then run away! So that’s what I did to get this shot… although it took a few takes to get it to line up right…

That is what I do just set the timer and walk away. i wanted every in our group to stand in a circle looking down at the camera while its on the floor and set timer, but half backed out so i did not bother.Had the 10-20 lens on and it would have looked like you shot but heads all around ,also the above detail was circular. Well!!-maybe next time. Nice detail !

Great photo, never thought of putting the camera on the floor for photos like this. Makes sense though.
