Lake Hayes and Arrowtown

New Category Today – Arrowtown

Every so often I add a new category to the LONG LIST of locations on the right. That long list is starting to feel a little silly! I wonder if there is a better way to do it… I’m open to ideas! :)

Daily Photo – Lake Hayes and Arrowtown

I’m still getting to know my new area here in New Zealand, but I feel like I’m ignoring this side! Looking the other way (away from Queenstown) is nearby Arrowtown and Lake Hayes. If you plan on coming down to Queenstown, don’t forget to set aside a day to explore this area as well.

I’ve marked this place in Stuck On Earth if you want to go see exactly where to go to see this view.

For the long list issue, why not putting in place a kind of windows in which you can scroll from one name to another like on the iPhone when you set time for the alarm.
A second option would be to split it into countries or continent and get a dynamic windows appearing when you select that part of the world in which you can select a more precise location.

Beautiful shot. For the long list, you could setup some type of tree view. Have the regions at the top and then you could click on a region to expand out to countries and then from the countries you could expand out to cities/towns.

    Thank you! :)

Break it down into 7 categories. Each continent, then break that down into country, then regions or states a part of each country. Might be a pain to do at first, but would be a much shorter list that is running on the side.

Thats a suburb called Lake Hayes Estate where I live. Arrowtown is on the horizon and is significantly bigger :)
