The Valley From Above

Join me in New Zealand

The team is keeping track of registrations for our multiple New Zealand events on the Photography Workshops page. We tried to set up various options for you, based on your time and appetite.

Daily Photo – The Valley From Above

You can see my home down there… very very very tiny over on the right hand side.

We went through a big process in deciding on a place to live. If you ever do want to move to New Zealand, drop me a note and I can give you the name of a good real-estate guy to help you out with the search. Buying a house in NZ is much different than in the US. In fact, it’s completely different! Once we did figure out the process, however, things got a lot less stressful and more fun.

What a beautiful place to live – there are a few possibilities of which one is your house! :)

I’m from New Zealand but currently living in England, if you keep posting beautiful shots like this I may have to come home again.

Buying a house in NZ is much simpler (than U.S). You don’t have to pay a buyers agent AND a sellers agent, and the closing costs are sweeeeet. Also it’s nice not to get RSI in your wrist after signing a whole ream of paper at closing.

That view doesn’t get old! I’m not sure if you mountain bike, but do you know if there is a pretty good MTB trail system there or MTB community? Thanks for the info.

Trey, lovely picture! My wife and I visited New Zealand a couple years ago, and absolutely loved it. (I wish I could make it work to move there!) Your New Zealand pictures always remind us of our time on the south island and its mountainous beauty. Cheers!

Stunning photo on the Crown Range! Moved here from the States 14 years ago. Definite differences but well worth it. Hope you and your family are enjoying it as much as we do.

So nice to hear that you’re liking the life here in NZ! Wander-up to the North Island sometime…
