Daily Photo – The Ruins on the Coast

One early morning, Curtis and I woke up to drive to the other side of the island and explore these old ruins. I don’t know if you can say that one set of ruins are in better shape than others, but these were still pretty awesome (even though they were in ruins)!

I did something a little different with the processing here, mostly related to adjusting the color of the shadows in Lightroom.

Trey the golden color (as well as the dark blues) in the clouds are ridiculous… Well done :)

One of the first movies of yours that I watched was where you and Curtis went and shot this. After that I signed up for your Discover class and downloaded the HDR tutorial. You’ve helped rekindle my passion for photography after a long hiatus. Kyle is right – that warm golden color is magnificent.

Trey can I say…. I try my best to have a look at the blog when I get some spare time but it’s when I’m feeling ‘lazy’ or non-productive with photography is when I REALLY come to look at the blog.

EVERYTIME you really REALLY inspire me and give me the momentum to get that special feeling of going out and capturing some amazing shots, I just want to thank you really :)

I’m going out tomorrow night to try and capture an awesome star trail shot over here in U.K (Dorset) :).

This shot along with all the others are so inspiring to me and will continue to make me feel that photography will always be a part of my life for as long as I can make it!

    Thanks Again!

    Dan.
