Daily Photo – Old Car in Argentina

On one of the final nights in Argentina, I went out to an older area near the town which had recently been flooded.  There were many abandoned cars, homes, and other lost things falling apart here and there.  It made for a fun series of short hiked from one little abandoned thing to the next.

I love these shots of old rusty cars – they have so much character. The colors you pulled out the car are incredible. The only way to do this is with HDR.  So, Trey, I take it from you remarks about “mirror-less” cameras being the future that you are not tempted to pick up  the new Nikon D800 for a mere $3000.

  • Another really great photo.  I love how you manage to make such amazing artwork out of old things which are falling apart.  I especially like the colors in this one.

  • I am with @GeorgeGreen:disqus, there is just something about rust that makes for great HDR!  Anyone even know what kind of car this is?   BTW, I still think Trey’s Variety Hour is a funny name considering those are staring to be two hours these days.

    Trey,
Why don’t you have any pictures in Canada? It’s a beautiful country and close to you. Maybe before you move to New Zealand? 😉
