Daily Photo – The Remarkables

If these mountains don’t have the coolest name ever, then I don’t know what does!

The mountains border the lake in Queenstown, but right before they dip into the deep water, a gentle dollop of green hills present themselves.  They are those soft kind of New Zealand hills – the kind that look like you could just take a giant thumb and mush them around into one shape or another.

I was wondering if you were going to keep your home in Austin after the move.  Good luck selling it and have a safe move when it’s time to go.

Moving is not always great to start off with, if you don’t mark the boxes then you already have a problem. Then its them closets you did not now that rubbish could build up in such a short space of time. Then its the kids stuff and I mean stuff like you never knew they had or they have forgotten about. Then your shed or garage theres build up of stuff and not but least your photo gear you put aside for maybe one day that will come in handy and the list goes on.The salvation Army is the best place the ride yourself of excess.I know we have moved 4 times even this house has that many closets and we have been here 10 years and they are full already. Now that ,that is said, don’t stress, your todays pic is very pleasent and good to see a little snow as here in Perth we are cooking.

I visited Austin  several times.  It’s a nice town – but since moving to San Diego 20 years ago, I just can’t imagine living anywhere else.  ‘Fraid you’ll have to sell your house to someone else.  The picture of the day is terrific. You caught the lighting just right and the colors are just right. Beautiful.

I’ll tell you what – i’ll put a lotto on this weekend and if I win i’ll buy your house. I could do a mean mancave in one of those 5 rooms!

nice shot Trey!  good luck on the move (assuming it’s to NZ) – we should hit some Austin spots “one last time” before you depart, you know for old times sake!  wishing you the best with the moving process, etc

Great shot today!  Man, I’m in the market for a 5 bedroom but not necessarily in Austin.  Good luck with the sale and upcoming move!

It just occurred to me that if that many people are following you on Google Plus — doesn’t that mean that like… 1 of every 100 people on G+ follow you?   Crazy impressive!

Can’t wait to hear more on your move… Good Luck! Hopefully you will be doing a camera walk when I get there!
