The French Quarter of Disney

Fake Book in China

I’m not sure – but I think this is a rogue copy of my book in China! :) I signed it anyway :)

Daily Photo – The French Quarter of Disney

Amazing Disneyworld! I am starting to switch my opinion about the best place to shoot in Disneyworld. I’m now thinking it is definitely Epcot. It used to be Animal Kingdom, which is still amazing.. but I find myself with more options and variety at Epcot, especially in the evening.

Here’s a great tip. If you stay at the resort, then go to Epcot on the “bonus hours” evening. Then get yourself way out at the opposite end of the park when it closes. You can then take your time and leave, taking photos all along the way. It’s pretty much absolutely deserted! The security guards did not seem to bother me either…

I agree, I think the World Showcase has some of the most visually appealing parts of Walt Disney World.  Animal Kingdom is still amazing (I was just there for some night shots), but there’s so much variety at Epcot.

Oh wow – this is drop dead gorgeous – has to be one of my favorites of yours – I don’t know how I missed this one in the last few days!!

yeah, the guards have no problems with late-hour photographers (anybody capable of making Disney look good, yet paying the company to do so, is always welcome ;-) ).  Really they’re more concerned with the surly survivors of “drinking around the world” contests that are usually worse on extra magic hours night – those that attempt to have one drink (at least) at each of the world showcase pavilions that serve alcohol (Mexico, Germany, Japan, Italy, France, and UK at the very least – others might as well).  When we were there after close, they were more interested in the schmuck that was about to yarf in Tinkerbell’s garden near the UK pavilion heading back to Future World, than anything us innocent types were up to.

Welcome to the Club. Well the EPCOT Club.  I totally agree that EPCOT is and has always been my favorite park, to visit and shoot.  I do love walking around World Showcase and trying to find more detail that I have never seen.  This is a great shot of France which can be one of my favorite areas to shoot.  - Photogineer

I know Peachpit translates books if there is interest or if they sell a lot … heck, one of my books was even translated to Chinese & Korean so I wouldn’t be surprised if yours was legit too! Of course, you’d probably know about it and get your own copies, lol. :)

You NEED to come to New Orleans and visit the real French Quarter and do yourself a favor, don’t come during Mardi Gras.
