Beautiful Akaroa

Anyone play Minecraft?

Minecraft is really fun… I play with my 10-year-old son. We started a little server here at home… build on it a little while every day. It’s great fun, and I recommend it. Be sure to watch some of those intro videos on the website, otherwise you’ll never figure it out! :)

Daily Photo – Beautiful Akaroa

This is a great town over on the coast of New Zealand. I only spent a short time there, but I’d like to get back. I think it was one of THE most recommended places in NZ, and that’s saying a lot, because the recommendations come fast and furious there.

Akaroa is a stunning place and one I know well. I used to live in Christchurch. Akaroa is about 1 1/2 hours from there. You have captured it beautifully with this shot.

Looks like where we used to hang out at my friends caravan in our late teens – a fabulous place in Scotland called Lochgoilhead – it’s bringing back some fond (albeit hazy!) memories – nice work!

The best HDR shot I have taken (Times Square in NYC) recently got added to the works on HDR Spotting which is pretty exciting so I thought i’d share it with y’all :-

Got hit by the earthquake I hope things are now getting back to norm. Have you any followers in that area to report how things are? Very French.

wowee, thanks for the new desktop background, Trey, beautiful. By chance, did you mean one of the sons to be your daughter. I’m not sure, maybe you do have two sons, lol. Anyway, this photo is spectacular, thanks for sharing. As always, have a great day :-)

    Hi Peter,

I was in Akarao last weekend for a nice lunch. The town is doing well almost no sign of the earthquake there now. It’s starting to get very busy for the Summer months and is a great holiday spot just over an hour out of Christchurch.

    Nice shot Trey.

    Cheers

    Mark
