We had an introduction thread a few days ago, and many comments got held in waiting! This happens when there are 3 more than three links… anyway, I enabled them so all should be good now!

What do you guys think is happening here? Make up a little story and let me know! In the comments… I will post what is really happening, which may not be as fanciful as your ideas…

Love this shot…ok I will guess – a frame shop! Although the web on the ceiling leaves me wondering! Awesome chat tonight – it was great!

He is thinking – “Damn I have a cool man cave – but where on Earth will I hang my beer mat collection?”

What an curious little place, I love what he’s domne with the ceiling – tremendous!

I personally love the new Facebook subscribe. We just need to encourage the same photography network that’s at G+. Probably need to wait until it’s available to the public. In the mean time: http://www.facebook.com/bfhstudios

A storyteller for a fee. Customers come in and choose among the many titles (which all paintings are in reality, titles to great stories) hung on the walls.

  • Christin

Weird alert/disclaimer!!! Just going with the first “story” that came to my mind…and it is purely fictional. Probably not the kind of story you were looking for, but what the heck…my veil is a little thin this morning after not nearly enough sleep ;)

This man is kept by a giant spider as an unwilling pet. The spider has given him all kinds of trinkets to keep him happy, but he longs for his friends and family….er, I think I’ll stop while I’m ahead….just a little too weird for me, even. And I’m the one making it up!

He is a performance artist and he’s depicting humanity’s dependence on the giant “Chinese Ceiling Spider” for all of its cable/satellite television needs because the web serves as an excellent antenna/dish! Makes sense? No, but it COULD be a possibility, hehe. ;-)

  • Big Matty

I’ll say he’s a sensei in the semi-martial art of eclectic decoration. He announced on Google+ that you could learn his art form for free! He also sells his DVDs online. And holds eclectic decoration walks;)
Or he’s lost his marbles, and he thinks he has a group of eager students sitting there. Judging from his expression and his posture he’s becoming annoyed with the kid on his left and his hand will soon leave his knee and snatch one of the annoying child’s eyes. It’s all fun and games after all…
I hope a lesson was learned. How good of you to capture this moment Trey.

What an odd and interesting little place. I love the texture of the art on the walls. The color is quite different. I kind of like it. What’s happening here? He looks like he is having a conversation with some invisible person on the stool next to the wall.

  • Drake

    Where are his legs???

  • Jennifer

He is an art teacher, waiting for his next class to show up. Of course, the entire class sits quietly during instruction and does exactly as they are told, lest the teacher punish their disobedience by feeding them to the giant spider tha lives in the ceiling. ;)

An artists workshop and he is enjoying some tea while he wait for his colleagues

  • Mike

He has just become noted in the community as an up and coming artist and has accepted an invitation to be interviewed on local Chinese community TV. Here you see him rehearsing and practicing his responses the interviewers questions.

He’s thinking…”Damn,I knew I shouldn’t have bought that bike. I’ve ridden twice in 2 years, all I use if for is to hang stuff off, and its taking up valuable wall space…”

  • Jodi

    I like the spider tale…

…and his missing legs make my mind wander…(I cringe that it reminds me of ‘Misery’)…uggh! So, I’d rather pretend he has a friend mystical changeling fairy/spider ‘Charlotte’ who gave him an exquisite magical web which protects him from the evil mor eels which suck out your essence so they can glow underwater…an evil warlord is holding his legs magically hostage…in return, the fisherman ‘Han’ must capture the panultimate web weaver and present it to the evil warlord ‘Seik’ to regain his legs…so he must use a magic carpet to fly with his enchanted sword (hidden beneath the floorboards of his shack) either to kill the evil ‘Seik’ to free the universe of evil OR capture & turn over the web weber (allowing evil to rein freely causing chaos & darkness for ever…) Which will Han choose? Hmmm…. ;)

  • Jodi

…he holds council with the invisibles pleading for their help…they are seated about him on the checkered stools…what’s in it for them they ask? he he! I need to get back to reality…tho I would love to see what’s behind that door…sheesh! ;)
Have an awesome day all! :)

  • Jodi

…for behind the door lay many an ancient Chinese secret…stolen from this realm are the ingredients for magic rocks & Calgon… :) For Calgon is the substance used to turn all those who touch it into zombies…but that’s a whole other story…

eeh ghad, I could go on and on, and on for hours…I’ll stop…Good thing I don’t actually do drugs or this tale might spiral into something much worse… :) Couldn’t resist…it kinna just spills out sometimes…After all, you asked for crazy stories Trey… Happy Saturday!! ;)

He is watching something on his TV. A personal development course, perhaps? But he is real thinking about what he is going to do with the Lego set beside the TV.

  • Christin

Jodi, you rock! Love your twist on the story. :D

  • SeanP

    Is he blind?

  • Terence

He is interviewing the ghost of HDR.

  • Kristen

Hmm, well I think his legs are attached and behind that very interesting little table in front of him. The stairs leading to another room say “workshop” and there are arranged a few stools around him. I’m thinking this is his studio where he displays his artwork and perhaps gives classes or shows. (Not too mysterious, sorry!)

  • http://dybowski.wordpress.com Michal Dybowski

Lots of expression… kind of different photo that you usually do, but I need to admit it’s great – as usual :)))). What is even more interesting it’s the main topic of this frame. I love the spider web made out ropes! Great thing and wonderfully done!

    Cheers for posting!

  • http://www.stuckincustoms.com Trey Ratcliff

    hehe thanks ! :)

  • David

It’s a front to hide the fact that behind that door is the factory where the iPad 3 is being manufactured.

  • RUTH

he is resting after a long meal and pondering if the bike is in the doorway. thinking…should he move? but where in room will it go?

  • Charles Smith

He is obviously a zen-master in telepathic communication with the arachnid aliens who directed the building of Machu Pichu.
