Walking Along the Waterfront in Boston

I have not spent enough time in Boston! I really need to explore the city more, but I tried to make the most of it while I was there.

One evening, about an hour from sunset, I found one of the prettiest waterfronts and started walking along it to see what I could find. After only a few moments, I came to this nice little area of greenery, benches, and a nice place to hang out and appreciate the colors of Boston. After only spending a short amount of time there, I now see why people like it so much!

Beautiful! Funny the painting feel of HDR makes those building look like toy blocks, I’m feeling kinda nostalgic ^^b

Heh, I think I went to this very spot on my third day (ever) in the USA back in ’05. Nice place, although the city was one huge construction site at the times, particularly the roads which in many cases simply didn’t exist like the road signs said. =)

Uh, make that the second day (first full day). =)

Oh, and I love the contrast between the warm light in the foreground and the daylight city in the background, makes it lose the time of day which makes for an interesting effect.

(I really wish you could edit comments)

Boston is an incredible city, with a load of striking waterfronts.

Have you ever been to Milwaukee? I’ve seen a lot of water in a lot of different cities/countries, but I still say that Milwaukee has one of the most pristine shorelines you’ll ever see! Plus, a shutterbug like yourself could have a field day photographing the Milwaukee Art Museum, designed by Santiago Calatrava. Check out some shots of it here: http://www.mam.org/info/details/quadracci.php

    Just a suggestion!
