The Megopolis Hong Kong – What Happens Around Dusk

Believe it or not, there is a small documentary being filmed about me. I don’t know what to think about it – only to assume it is going to be rather boring! I think it is going to be a lot like Grizzly Man, just without the bear.

As this gal is going about her process of gathering materials, she asked me for a few of the original shots from Hong Kong so she can show them during the documentary. I was going back through my old shots, and found that I had never processed THIS one of Hong Kong, which has a really moody dusk sky, so I spent a few hours to clean it up for publication.

I hope you like it!

Hong Kong is one of the most beautiful places in the woid. My visit was of an extrodinary and unique expedrience only wish that it was a little longer. People were very nice and warm the city make NYC look like a dump. I’m a proud american.

Thank you – I like all of those things too. I kind of wish this is the first one of Hong Kong I had published… but it got to you later than sooner, and everything is okay.

Very nice. Reminds me of “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” when Roy and Ronnie come over the edge of Devil’s Tower and gaze into the landing area.

I unfortunately, have not been able to travel in my life…due to having children, taking care of a terminally ill child, and now back in school & taking care of elderly parents. I want u to know how much being able to see the world thru ur eyes has enriched my life. Thanx for the memories.

The angle looks like the shot was either taken from the peak railroad or from Tiger Balm Garden. Either way, it is an exciting view day or night.

Hong Kong is one of the most beautiful cities in the world after dark. Whether it’s a long shot like this one or a tight shot down a shopfront street the result is the same. I plan to take my wife to Hong Kong for our anniversary in 2010.

This has to be one of my favorite of your pictures. I love how you captured the cool blue AND the warm glow of the yellows and oranges. Amazing shot.
