The Best of New York

Here are some of my favorites from New York. I have a lot more I need to process over a long weekend — I look forward to that! But in the meantime, leading up to a little announcement tomorrow night, here are some of the best from NYC! :)

How about a little New York City in HDR?

Trey! I just recently discovered your HDR work and not only do I find it impressive, but inspirational as well. You are a fantastic example of how something “high tech” like HDR can really be an awesome method of artistic expression.

I have only been to New York once, but I found it to be one of the most inspiring locations for photography. Clearly you were able to create some fantastic images from there.

Congratulations on all your success. You have truly earned it.

Your photos are amazing. I enjoy your witty writing style and voice as well.

You have completely changed my attitude toward Photoshopping. It’s all about how you remember the scene.

Thanks for all your tutorials, they’re excellent.

    Trey!

Been meaning to comment on your page for ages, but never got around to doing it. Vivid fan of your work though. I’ve seen several shots of this red sculpture in NYC and was wondering if you could tell me where it’s located. I’m going to NYC on a photo trip in 2011 and would very much appreciate it if you could let me know where to find it. (googlemap would be excellent if you have the exact location).
    Keep up the good work.

PS. If you visit my website you’ll see a small section on HDR as well. This is quite old already though, I will update my more recent work (some amazing Copenhagen shots) in August when I get back from an Italy trip. Seems like we share two loves: Travelling and photography.

    Take care!
