One of my friends over at Matador just emailed me and said they are having a travel photography and writing contest for students which you can see here.

He emailed me from Buenos Aires, where I have never been. Since I like to post a picture with every entry… I will do the closest thing I have to South America, which is still quite far away in Central America. This is the volcano at Arenal in Costa Rica.
