The Italians work in slight different sorts of office buildings… okay not all of them, but some of them certainly do.
I mailed a package of clothing to Torri, Italy on September 1, 2009. The box was full of vacation clothing to be worn during our time at a villa outside of Pontassieve. As of today, November 10, 2009, the package has been in Italian Customs, attempted to be delivered to Torri, sent back to the U.S., again sent back to Italy and has been in Italian Customs since October 20, 2009. This is extremely frustrating. The USPS has requested that the package be returned to sender, but is powerless and won’t be able to take a claim for $1500 for the package because they know where is it currently and therefore do not consider it to be ‘lost’. This is terribly frustrating…..
