Nightwalk around the Burj Khalifa – Stuck in Customs

Nightwalk around the Burj Khalifa

Wide-Angle Leaning

I still find people that get quite angry when I post photos like this where buildings are leaning this way and that. Of course, that’s an optical effect from aiming a wide angle lens up into the air. This look doesn’t bother me at all; in fact, most times I find it more interesting and cooler than straight up and down! Anyway, if people give you a hard time about this just channel your inner-Trey and ignore them.

Daily Photo – Nightwalk around the Burj Khalifa

If you ever make it to Dubai, this is one of my greatest ideas that I discovered by accident. Imagine you are traveling across the desert (which you are, I guess) and sleep during the day and walk at night! The city is extra-beautiful at night and it’s about 600 degrees cooler. Try to circumnavigate the Burj Khalifa here… There are fountains, pools, statues, crazy lights and more… it’s quite fun to see how many compositions you can make. 🙂
