The reason it is rare is because I only spent about half a day there! So I tried to get out and see how many photos I could possibly pack into a day. I was already exhausted from being on the road so much, but I was a real photo trooper and got out there anyway. What an awesome city… I could easily see myself spending several weeks there!

We decided to take one of the touristy river cruises one night at sunset. I usually don’t do touristy things because I don’t like being herded around like sheep, but this was really the only way to see the beautiful city from the river. Anyway, it was pretty fun, but also a little too long.. They served wine on the boat, but you were only allowed one glass. I thought this was a little draconian and it made me think we should have brought our own wine.

Daily Photo – The Bridges Through Prague
Only one night here! That was no bueno… but I tried to take as many photos as I could as quickly as possible. I was quite exhausted after being on the road for so long… but I knew we only had one night here so I had to rally to get out there and get some photos. I was walking across one of the bridges earlier in the day, and I saw a photo from this perspective. I asked the guy selling the photo where the photo was taken, and he pointed up here towards this park. Rene and I ended up there later this night to do our best to re-capture the scene.

Prague Disappointment
Note, I was not disappointed with Prague; I’m disappointed I didn’t get more and better photos of it! I was only there from, hmmm, maybe noon until midnight. It was my first time here, and I’ve always wanted to go… so I felt a bit rushed to see as much as possible. I’m probably a bit hard on myself… but I’ll be back some day and take my time! 🙂

I had a bit of trouble finding the best spot to take photos in Prague because I was there for such a short time. But I think this spot is not so bad. There’s a park that’s nearby that has an elevated area for looking at all these beautiful bridges. I usually move around a bit more, but this evening, I just parked myself here and watched the world go by.

Daily Photo – One night in Prague
On the bus ride from Berlin to Budapest, we stopped for one night in Prague. This was not nearly enough time to explore the ancient city, but I did my best. I abandoned the team and decided to listen to music and roam around to see what I could find. This was my favorite bridge and I walked across it probably a dozen times, back and forth across the river, taking hundreds of photos.
