Autumn in Kyoto – Stuck in Customs

Autumn in Kyoto

From the Archives

How about a blast from the past? Here is a Very Old Video from Japan. I made this on one of my first trips there. Obviously, I was still experimenting with video… slo-mo, timelapse, all that jazz. Either way, you’ll definitely enjoy the part with the snow monkeys. 🙂

Daily Photo – Autumn in Kyoto

If you only have a week or so to spend in Japan, I recommend spending an equal amount of time in Tokyo and Kyoto. That way, you get to see the crazy Blade-Runner city side of Tokyo and the pastoral, natural side of Kyoto. I took this photo right in the beginning of Autumn at a temple near Kyoto. By the way, there are about 100 temples just a short drive from the main city, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. I was actually a week or two early before the colors really started to change, but you can already see shape of the incredible colors there.
