The Singapore airport is one of the best (and most efficient) in the world, so it is definitely worth making the transit through customs and give the city a visit. Even better, in Singapore they love food, so you’re sure to grab some good grub.

Right after I took this photo, someone leaned over and told me the lion had been moved and it was not in its original location. They said this fact with such earnesty that I could not refute it. Anyway, for one week per year, they light up the lion in various ways, and this happened to be one of those nights. Actually, the entire area around this body of water is lit up with beautiful lights. It’s almost a smallish Burning Man!
