Here’s a quick tutorial I made… sort of an esoteric one unless you’re wondering how to do this very thing! 🙂

Dubai Thoughts

I’ve noticed there are two very different opinions of people that visit Dubai. Either people seem to love it or they really don’t like it and want to get out of there ASAP. Very strange how a place can be so polarizing. As for me, I really enjoyed it… it’s like a parallel universe, and, of course, it’s great fun to shoot!

Daily Photo – The Burj Al Arab at night

The beach in front of this amazing hotel is relatively empty, so it’s easy to get a clean shot. This was a good night too because the waves would come up far, then recede back, leaving a shiny sand-surface. The frequency of the waves was very slow too, about 30 seconds, so I had enough time to get a good long exposure.
