The Sunset I almost missed in Beihei

A light moment in China…

As opposed to the incident below, here’s a bunch of hairdressers getting ready for work!

Daily Photo – The Sunset I almost missed in Beihei

Remember that little story about me being detained by the Chinese police? It was right here that it happened! This is the exact spot where I was descended upon. I was released into the wild back in this same location, right at sunset. Quite convenient, I must say!

    beautiful Trey 🙂

I enjoy your photos a great deal and it used to be possible to save a photo from smugmug for personal use as desktop wallpaper or whatever. Now when I right-click I only see a copyright notice. Is there still some way to download photos for personal, non-commercial use?

Nice, Trey. Just came back from NZ. Thanks for your Skippers Valley post. I went there and really enjoyed it. BTW. It’s Beihai, not Beihei.

  • Awesome!

  • Robert

I’ve also been wondering about this. What happened to the full resolution philosophy?

  • Alex Warofka

Awesome photo! But just FYI, it’s Beihai (a not e).

  • Cam

Same questions as above 2 posters. Love the work either way.

  • There is a setting in SmugMug I am trying to get right — there is a global thing — trying to talk to their support to figure it out.
