Renting Castles

I love staying in castles, and I’ve heard there are some where you can rent the whole castle for quite inexpensive. Apparently there are many castles all over the world that are mostly abandoned but can be rented for a shockingly small number. I need to look into these more, so if you have any hot connections, let me know!

Daily Photo – Amazing Castle on the edge of the Desert Gorge in Morocco

This is the amazing Auberge le Festival in the gorge just on the edge of the Sahara desert. After spending several nights out in the arid desert situations, I started to work my way back towards the Atlas mountains. This area is very near a fantasy (but real!) oasis, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. If you ever go to Morocco, be sure you look up this unbelievable place!

Trey are you primarily shooting A7r now? If so, any workarounds you’ve found yet for the shutter button hold for auto bracketing? You images are so sharp for having to hold the button; assuming you have a rock solid tank of a tripod…Great photo!

Yes! I am using a tiny IR Remote to take the photos – and it takes all 3 photos!

  • Brandon

Do you have an amazon or b&h link for the remote. I definitely need to purchase one! Take Care!

  • treyratcliff

@Luke will you add this to our Sony A7r Review – a link to that remote?
