Daily Photo – Exploring The Strand

I was able to spend a short amount of tine in Sydney, and I heard this was a place I really needed to visit. After I walked in, I understood why! It’s a very old building, and there were many natural compositions that presented themselves. It seems a little easy to make it symmetrical, but it’s okay to take the easy way out from time to time! 🙂

What a cool place – beautiful – would like to go shopping there!

Nice one,had a great time in Korea but more shopping than sight seeing,it’s always like that when you take tours. Hope you are all about to have a great weekend. I remember this place when living in Sydney but cannot ever record having a camera with me. Susan you would love shopping there but the price is not right. Here in Hong Kong you would love to shop it’s so cheap if you know where to go.

Thanks – glad you like it! 🙂

    This photo brings back memories.

I spent a month in Sydney back in 1996 and bought one of my favorite hats, an Akubra Cooper Pedy, at Strand Hatters in the Strand Arcade.

Ah, The Strand! I bought 3 Crumplers and my 7D there.

  • Andrea Boyle

Loved this place! What a candy store for photography! Sadly, didn’t shop. I was too interested in the elevator and view from the lady’s room of the arcade.
