Some more from Palm Beach

I’m working on another load of shots from Florida, and here are a few of my favorites, which you may or may not see iterations on in the future! These are all from Palm Beach… the first one was taken while I was having some peaceful time after being assaulted by lawyers in a deposition… the middle one is of a nasty storm that faced me at the airport… and the third one was some wonderful little light sculptures in The Breakers that I thought needed a good treatment.

The Calm After the Storm

A Storm at the Airport

The Glowing Alien infantsacs

  • I don’t love the sea … but your first picture is very very great! woooow!

  • Mark

I really like the sky in the second one.

  • gypman

Don’t you just hate those depositions. I’ve my share. I don’t who I hated more, my lawyer or there’s. But at lease you got some great shots.

  • Is that some Dale Chihuly blown glass? very cool photos btw.

  • the airport one is amazing!

  • DEE

Pictures are great. But please don’t diss all lawyers. My son is one and his wife is a judge and they are two of the nicest people that anyone can know. I’ve had compliments from many about them.

  • adan

love it – did you digitally enhance these shots? what were you shooting with? well done!

  • Deb

Never been to Fla. but these shots are GREAT!! as usual. Great work! Thanks!

  • Ril

The fourth shot looks too digitized, fake with add ons. The other three are excellant!!

  • I’m sure there are a few nice lawyers out there somewhere. Not sure where though….

Love those lamps at the Breakers. They’re kinda kookie! Great processing 🙂

  • Gail

Wow, very impressive shots. The one of the storm sure looks frightening!!! Nice shot of the sky over the ocean, with the pier!! And that glass is really different. Love the background behind it!!

  • Donna

Thanks for starting my days with absolutely beautiful pics. 1st – serene, 2nd – stirring, 3rd – unique.

  • I actually lived in Florida, gulf coast, for 1.5 years before returning to the mind-numbing cold in winter Wisconsin. Why? I missed my friends.

I’ve been back in WI for several years now, and every time winter approaches, I feel more and more depressed. Lack of light is one thing; lack of warmth another.

I miss Florida really bad. Your pictures remind me why.

  • Dr. Electro

Photo number one makes me want to yell, “The bonito are biting! Fetch teh boat!”

  • WOW!
The first one is my favourite. (the pier)
I spent some time out there this summer, and the cloud formations were amazing!

  • Thanks! It does look like a Chihuly – but his stuff is not usually so smoky I believe.

And I don’t hate all lawyers… I like my own lawyer, and I will generally give the unknown lawyer the benefit of the doubt… but just a very small benefit!

haha you guys are funny and informative – thanks for the good comments.

  • see I knew that the pict. reminded me of home for some reasion 🙂 not panama but been there quite a few times thakns for takeing some pict. of a place close to my heart.

  • Scott

    Love the first picture.

But I really don’t feel as though I “assaulted” you that day. You should find comfort knowing that you made me work as hard (probably harder) as I did you.

At any rate, I have enjoyed following your photography since that time.

  • Scott! My man! how ya doin… nice of you to come by. No hard feelings mate. I have a thick skin and it was an interesting experience all around. You’re a good man… no worries.

  • By looking at your shots of Palm Beach I really wish I had my Rebel XSi (and maybe a tripod) back in July… incredible photographs, Trey!

The first one is just beautiful and the sky in the 2nd shot… WOW!!! Love them!

  • your images are amazing!!
remind me of vertual fairy tale style animation!!
the airport image is classic…alot of hidden meaning 🙂

  • You have the heart of any angel

  • and did I forget soul… well if I did you have the heart and soul of an angel

  • enough to restore the lost hope i have in the human race … i dont know you … yet you are beautiful … more beautiful than you will ever know.

  • ppl like you make this world a better place

  • for once I’ve come accross a real man

When he can look out over the rivers, the hills, and the far horizon with a profound sense of his own littleness in the vast scheme of things, and yet have faith, hope and courage—which is the root of every virtue. When he knows that down in his heart every man is as noble, as vile, as divine, as diabolic, and as lonely as himself, and seeks to know, to forgive, and to love his fellow man. When he knows how to sympathize with men in their sorrows, yet even in their sins, knowing that each man fights a hard fight against many odds. When he has learned how to make friends himself and to keep them, and above all, to keep friends with himself. When he loves flowers, can hunt birds without a gun and feels the thrill of an old forgotten joy when he hears the laugh of a little child.

When he can be happy and high-minded amid the meaner drudgeries of life. When star-crowned trees, and the glint of sunlight on flowing waters, subdue him like the thought of one much loved and long dead. When no voice of distress reaches his ears in vain, and no hand seeks his aid without response. When he finds good in every faith and helps any man to lay hold of divine things and sees majestic meanings in life, whatever the name of that faith might be. When he can look into a wayside puddle and see something beyond mud, and into the face of most forlorn fellow mortal, and see something beyond sin.

  • WHEN IS A MAN A MAN cont

When he kept faith with himself, with his fellow man, with his God in his hand a sword for evil, in his heart a bit of a song—Glad To Live— but not afraid to die. Such a man has found the real secret of being a man, and the one which it is trying to share it with the world.

  • Thanks Mamaroodles – I’ve never had a comment quite so unique! 🙂
