Beautiful photo – love the lighting – I have no idea where? I would guess Spain because that’s how I picture it – but don’t really know!

Not sure myself but will take a punt and say Spain only because of the paying alley way. Nice pic like the depth, your eyes seem to take you right to the end.

Gorgeous glow in the stones in the alley and walls! No idea. Did you google the store?

    Superb Photo,
I believe its Florence, Toscana – have you gone there?
I googled “SIA Home Fashion + 18″ and wandered around
the shop’s front has changed but the alley is very similar, and some shops can be found higher in the street
adress Via Dante Alighieri, Florence, Toscana

    cheers

Traveling in France, at night, and being forgetful about it all…sounds like a good time with some, perhaps, good wine?

I was going to suggest Montpellier as well but seems like it’s been covered! This a great shot Trey, stunning processing, one of my favourites from the last couple of months.

I haven’t read any of the previous posts as I don’t want my guess to be influenced in any way – my guess is Spain only because the word ‘Sia’ on the sign seems like it might be a Spanish word – that’s about as educated as my guess gets. The scene itself seems like it could be from either of the two countries.

No prizes for guessing where the photo in the link below was taken – again taken with all my new gear, Gorillapod included which was well and truly attached and secured to a metal bar and a pane of glass…..

The secrets out, so I don’t have to guess, lol. Great photo, Trey. Have a nice Sunday. This is my last post for a while as we are going to St. Louis for my hubby’s Air Force Reunion. So don’t worry about us. We’ll be gone for 10 days. Until then, God bless and keep you safe. :-)

Beautiful!! It looks like Spain! But then again, all those countries have interchangeable features… :)

So, my buddy pointed out that he though he saw some of your work being sold at an art show in San Diego this weekend. I recognized a few shots from this guy’s website…. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure this guy is selling some of you work under his name. I thought you might like to know… here is the guy’s website: http://www.artworksoncanvas.com/32201.html The bottom photo I am sure is yours… The one with the cloud, tree and house. I would want to know if someone was selling my work as their own.

Terrific. Well processed and very natural. Lastly, I have no idea re France vs. Spain.

  • http://catchthejiffy.com Adam Allegro

@Alex Sefrin, I thought so… Wouldn’t that piss you off?? I had a guy using my shots online a few months ago and was furious… He took them down eventually after I sent him a some “angry” emails. Another thing. i absolutely LOVE G+, but i have seen some of my own photos show up in my stream posted by other people!!! Snyways, sorry for taking your post stream off topic Trey. keep up the awesome work!

Way to go Adam – good detective work – you’re right!

Hi Trey, France! Googled the store, Sia, in the photograph. Love your work and I just about ready to break out the tripod and try some of my own HDR. You are so inspirational! Thank you for always sharing and inspiring!

Many have guessed it before me, but I immediately recognized my city, Montpellier! Great shot of one of the nicest streets in the old “ecusson”! Hope you enjoyed Montpellier!!

@Adam Allegro: Have seen your photos! I would make me crazy if someone sells my work. But with internet it’s easy to make a fast buck; you only have to steel someone work.
It makes me sad to see this because I’m so glad that you and Trey share your photos with us. I enjoy it every morning to look at new posts and see those beautiful pictures.

Haha…what a problem to have! I love the softness in this image…I would have guessed Spain – glad I didn’t jump in too early!
