Romance in India

My first impression of romance in India came from Bollywood.  I was pretty sure that everyone fell in love then spent a long time dancing around a grapefruit tree.    There are other dancers involved, nearby, of course, as well as a series of fountains, slow-motion cattle, Hinduesque yodeling.

But then, after being there, I saw romance was the same as just about everywhere else.  I did capture this couple together, exploring Humayun’s Tomb in the middle of Delhi.  Enjoy!

    Great photo, Trey!! I’m posting from WA. We had a beautiful drive yesterday. We took I90 to Hwy the other side of Spokane. When we drove over Stevens pass, the spots where the underbrush was visible were just beautiful with the fall colors!! Just wanted you and your Mom to know we made it here safely!!! I’m using our son’s laptop which I am not used to, lol. Hoping to get this posted without hitting a wrong button again!!! Have a great week!!

    That is a beautiful, beautiful picture.
    I am usually about as emotional as a log but since I grew up in Delhi this photo has moved me to speak up a bit.

    (p.s. ~ People can be touchy about this so I have to add that that building is not a temple; clearly a tomb of an Islamic ruler, maybe Humayun or Safder Jung)

    I wanted to second the above comment. The above is certainly not a Hindu temple. I’m not sure which one of the Islamic buildings it is but it looks like Humayun’s tomb to me.

    India has a lot of buildings that symbolizes love -the Taj Mahal being the most famous. can you share the composition of this photo. Was there a lot of post-processing involved?
