Trey, thanks for the sneak peek at the new eBook! This is probably my favorite so far in your series. Lots of good info included in this one. Keep up the great work!

This book is a really great departure from the wonderful HDR eBook/DVD series that Trey has created. The contents of this eBook are thoughtfully laid out and touch on some visual concepts that really got me thinking about how I compose my images (I was especially keen on reading about the Golden Ratio).

Trey breaks the mold here and offers the book in a landscape perspective, which I really enjoyed. The text and images look fantastic when read on the iPad, too.

You won’t go wrong picking this up for yourself. Every page is solid.

Andrew – cool – sorry this one was too new to be included on the DVD… There is the “Top 10″ ebook on there, though.

Friggin’ Outstanding Trey – and you know what a perfectionist I am. Wish I had this book years ago, but equally glad I have it now. :0)

Okay, I’ve read about composition and studied examples before, but this was outstanding. Reading the book, I was immediately able to identify some past mistakes with photos that didn’t quite feel right, and returned to them and recrop them into far improved compositions. I wasn’t bad at composition previously, but my successes were all often done by feel and ‘rule of thirds’, and all too often, RoT just wasn’t feeling right for pictures – in the future, I’ll be using your far superior points to make sure I get the shots I want.

Dear Trey; another great addition to your ebook library – I have them all. The “Golden Raio” section was excellent and my favorite. I’ve got an upcoming shoot that I anticipate will be more satisfying as a result of the information contained in this great book. Even though I’m over 30, I did my best not to “over think” while reading – many thanks from an old photographer.

Lots of great information, that will improve the images of even the most novice of photographers (me). Thanks Trey!

    Hi Trey,
Fantastic latest ebook, I have the set now and sure I will getting more in the future! I love your Rule of Thirds ideas and will take a look at some of my older shots to see if this can be applied to good use on them!
I’m intrigued about your other “secret” blog now…..
    Take care, Lucy

Trey, this is your best book so far. You go into detail as you explain the way you compose your photos. This is by far one of the most practical books I have read on composition. Thank you!

What a wonderful eBook. Gives me lots to think about. I’ll need to reread it a few more times in the future to have it all soak in. Thanks for putting the time in to make it.

This eBook has helped me figure out why some of my photos are so much more popular than others. Thanks again.

Great book Trey! I loved it. You did an incredible job of making it a lot more than just a book with useful information. It also comes exceptionally well written with humor, candid insights, and a lot of inspiring ideas as well as photos. It was really enjoyable to read. You’re an amazing fellow Trey. I’m enjoying the book! Question: what is flatbooks.com ? The link doesn’t seem to go anywhere though.

  • Joseph

This book is worth the money. I bought the other two books and ended up returning one of them as I felt the content was lacking. There’s a lot of good info in this ebook and I highly recommend it if you want to hone your creativity skills regarding composition.

I purchased two ebooks with the idea of reading them on my iPad. Alas, the files are so big I can’t even send them from my comcast email account! I downloaded the .pdf files to my desktop computer and then saved them as .pdf files and then attempted to email them as .pdf attachments. No way to get them into my email on my iPad because of the file sizes.

    Any ideas?

  • http://www.stuckincustoms.com Stuck In Customs

Steve – did you try dragging the PDF into your iTunes? It will then sync to your ipad!

@ Steve. You could do a couple things. Maybe get a free Gmail account, or use dropbox or iBooks to transfer them over via wifi or iTunes like Trey recommended. Hope that helps.

Just ordered all the eBooks, got an email thanking me for my order, but no link to download the eBooks…? Help…
