At night in Venice, the water takes on another character to me… it seems black and oily and even a little bit evil! I know that’s a strange thing because in the daytime it’s so happy and colorful and full of life. But at night, it’s just a different thing altogether. Maybe because you gotta stay away from it and you’re always worried about falling in, like my friend Rene! 🙂
