Approaching the Korean Prison in Queenstown – Stuck in Customs

Approaching the Korean Prison in Queenstown

Self-Auditory-injury Question

Let’s just say I want to live on the side of danger… I never find my earphones QUITE loud enough. I hear a good song and I don’t mind damaging myself a bit with it, know what I mean? I’ve tried many earphones… etc etc, but I want a somewhat illegal booster. I feel like all the major earphone manufacturers take things a few levels BELOW what is safe. I’d rather listen on the edge… know what I mean? Any suggestions?

Daily Photo – Approaching the Korean Prison in Queenstown

It’s remarkable how big Deer Park Heights is in Queenstown. Most “hills” around New Zealand look like nothing, but each one can be a huge mountain in its own right. I think it’s because you often see these “hills” in the context of the giant mountains of the Southern Alps, so everything is both in-context and beyond-context. This old North Korean prison was a movie set for a rather horrible Disney movie from the 80’s. I’m a movie fan, and I just can’t recommend it!
