Most insane animal?
I am wondering if penguins are the most insane animal ever. I’ve never seen animals spend such a huge amount of time doing such strange things. The amount of time they put into stealing rocks rather than getting new rocks really is funny. Maybe it’s like a game or some other strange social thing happening… I don’t know. Maybe because they have no significant predators that it allows them to spend over 50% of their day doing unproductive, crazy things. I’ll have to ask one of my new penguin researcher friends!

Dees penguins is crazay! I sat here and watched them steal rocks and be silly for many hours! It was so fun. This is actually a massive pano made out of 27 photos. You can see on the left a freshwater pond where they get their drinking water. On the other side is the open ocean where they dive through cracks to get their food. All those cracks are caused by the sea ice smashing into this volcanic island. Amazing, really!
