HDR Video Tutorial

HDR Video News – New Downloadable Version Available!

We have a new HDR Video Tutorial that I’ve just made available. We launched the DVD several months ago, and it has been wildly successful. I know there is another group of people out there that are looking to get below that $100 price point, so we came up with an Amazon S3 downloadable solution. Also, it’s available for immediate download, so we don’t have to mess with DVDs and that sort of thing. However, if you want the bigger version with extra stuff, it’s still available to you!

Wow this is a very good offer indeed – now I just need to find a way to download it without my other half finding out :) maybe Santa will bring it to me. Oh and i’m looking forward to the forthcoming ‘Burning Man’ photos too – they will rule!

Trey, this is so great. I bought it as soon as I saw the price drop. Thanks for figuring out a way of bringing the cost down for those of us looking for a lower price point. Santa came early this year!

  • Simon Morris

Great choice of options, thanks… all depends on how well I’ve behaved this past year as to which option I receive from Mr Santa, hmmmm :-)

This is perfect for me as I’m currently out of the country traveling for 6 months and couldn’t order the DVD. What is the total size for the download version?

Haven’t looked an my email yet, so haven’t seen the newsletter. Good luck on the DVD sales, Trey. On a personal note, I will be downloading 4 photos on facebook today that I took at 5 a.m. this morning of the snow on our back deck!!!!! They are advising all to stay off the roads!!! Very windy. Well, that’s it for our weather report, not a pretty one here. Take care, all. Stay safe if you are traveling anywhere in the Northwest!!!!!

Oh! This is a tutorial on how to shoot HDR photos, and not how to shoot HDR video? I was confused by the title.

  • http://www.stuckincustoms.com Stuck In Customs

Yes – it is a video version of the HDR Tutorial. I know, it’s confusing isn’t it. hehe sorry about that.

Hey, I remember this shot. I was fortunate to watch Trey work on this image at the workshop he did in Tampa last year. Great fun and a wonderful learning experience. Everyone should get his tutorial for Christmas or give it as a gift…. wwww.wowphotoshdr.com

Hey Trey….What if I purchase the downloadable version and enjoy HDR so much that I want to purchase more of the videos? Do you offer a way to upgrade the series? I am reluctant to spend 379.00 and find that it is just not for me.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Oh sure– our support team can set up something for you… upgrades are always fairly priced !:)

  • Brandon

What versions of photoshop and photomatix are you using in the majority of the tutorial? Also, are you using any new/ugraded programs today that aren’t covered in the video?

  • http://www.stuckincustoms.com Stuck In Customs

The tutorial / forums show all the versions of Photomatix and Photoshop. For example, in the videos I show 3.1, but you also get access to the forums where you see videos with Photomatix 4.0. (and PS Cs5)… so, we tried to be smart about it… you’ll always get the latest.

But, on another note, there’s not a ton of diff between 3.1 and 4.0
