Trey, your HDR photographs never ceased to amaze me.

this photo in particular, as i'm from indonesia. It's really cool to get a different perspective on what we see as ordinary objects/buildings.

I'm wondering how do you get such vibrant colors (other than HDR). Do you plan on making a tutorial or spill the beans on your post-processing workflow? Should you not, i'd still be a happy viewer :)

Great shot. I like the sharp clouds which is rare in most HDR and the colors in the sky are just right. Can't wait to hear about the body!

Chris - I mention tripods over there on the right in the SLR Camera recommendations... BUT, the best advice is just to go to your local store, take you camera, and try out 3-5... hands-on is the best.

Yes yes - the dead body bit - I should elaborate more. I have an upcoming shot from downtown Yogyakarta - I'll be sure to give details then. It's all all more "grim" than it is "interesting", I'm afraid!

I envy these places you visit, minus the millions of people. And nice choice with DropBox. I use it too and it sure comes in handy.

1) Excellent shot
2) I couldn't agree more with the guy above me.
3) I just downloaded the photomatix trial, and attempted my first HDRs....wow, it might just be the most hideous thing I've ever seen. After playing with that program, I have a whole new respect for HDR.
