@James: you’d be surprised how little smog there actually is in the city. It tends to be foggy in the mornings, but it usually clears up fully by mid-day. (I live in Shanghai now.)

It is from Urban Planning Museum of Shanghai in People square. It is 100:1, and all the buildings are existing already. And it is only for the inner ring of the city. It means it is model for the downtown only.
Currently, there are more bridges and buildings than this model.
The river is not blue in the reality. But it is government’s dream and target. Having nice dream is not bad!
I am a woman living in Shanghai. I visited this building 3 times.

There are similar models of modern and ancient Beijing at the Urban Planning Museum in Beijing just south of Tiananmen Square. Also saw smaller ones in Tianjin.

Hi, this is incredible in more ways than one….I have been to Shanghai 4 times and really into this sort of thing and have never seen any info that would have lead me there.
do you know if it is advertised as an attraction.
